Jacob Jones

PASTOR

A Life Transformed by Christ

Pastor Jacob Jones was raised in the Imperial Valley and accepted Christ at age 16 during a youth conference at North Valley Baptist Church in Santa Clara, CA. Just a year later, he felt God’s call to preach.

Ministry Training and Preparation

From 2004 to 2009, Pastor Jones received his ministry training at Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, CA, preparing him for a life of service in the ministry.

A God-Ordained Partnership

In 2016, Pastor Jones met Lydia in Yuma, AZ, at her father’s church—Cocopah Bethel Independent Baptist Church. They married that same year. Mrs. Jones grew up ministering to the Cocopah Native tribe and gave birth to their son, Samuel, in 2019.

Planting New Haven Baptist Church

Following God's leading, Pastor Jones planted New Haven Baptist Church in Winterhaven, CA, in April 2021, with a vision to reach the local community with the gospel.
